James 1:2; consider it pure joy when you go through trials of many kinds. Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit to the wilderness to be tempted, led to danger; so if you go through trials of many kinds, when you succeed they won’t have time to talk about you and now the testing of your faith here is developed, patience, kindness, love, etc., so, let perseverance finish its course so that you can be matured and not lack anything. He says; share in my sufferings – even when you ask you don’t doubt – when you doubt you are double minded.
