James 2:1 - My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. I feel what is being said here is to treat everyone equally. If for instance you have a party and you invite just your "Hip" friends and not your "less than cool" friends because you want to keep a certain statis, your in the wrong. The Lord said to treat all people without partiality. Treat the rich and poor the same, all peoples are to be loved yet it is the SIN that we are to hate. We all sin, in one form or another. Sin is sin. That in and of itself makes us equal, right? "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." (Rom.3:23) So treat a bratha or sista right, love on them also and maybe they may see Jesus in us and want the same. Be blessed and have a great day.
