(James 2:17 NKJV) "Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." The Bible makes it clear that faith is essential in our walk with God because He can only be reached by faith. All the blessings God destined for us can only be received by faith. It is that important! The Word of God however reveals that faith requires corresponding actions. This simply means that there is always an action expected of you to complete the faith transaction. Until this action is carried out, your faith process is not completed. So many times our faith record with God reads incomplete because a corresponding action is missing. For example, if you are trusting God for healing, the corresponding action will be to step away from the sick bed and conduct yourself like someone who is healthy. Believe that God will do the rest. The words coming out of your mouth is also a corresponding action to your faith. Your actions can actually tell whether you are in faith or not. Make sure the next time your faith record is examined, it does not read incomplete. Act in faith.
