James 3:13-16 “Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct he should show his works done in the gentleness that wisdom brings. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, do not boast and tell lies against the truth. Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is disorder and every evil practice.” “We are to live differently because we believe in Jesus. Our lives should reflect that faith, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness: all the fruits of the spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23) That being said, we all have bad days, and some days it is more difficult to be at peace than others. In those times, we must choose to live in the light of Christ instead of living from a selfish or bitter place. Be authentic, but let your perspective and example be led by the Holy Spirit: filled with wisdom and gentleness. Ask for prayer, and cry out to God, He will answer! Sometimes, this is hard work!”
