James 5:16 ‘Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.’ Salvation is all of God. We enter into His finished work. Prayer is the way God unites His work with us. It is prayer that allows us to be actively involved in the fulfilment of the plan and purpose of God. Prayer is the privilege and the responsibility of every believer. The effectiveness of our prayer life is dependent upon the genuineness of our faith. When we confess our faults to one another and pray for one another then we find healing; we bring encouragement to others; and our prayers will not be hindered by hidden things in the heart.
