He has been blessed and given a message to deliver to his people through his creative art. There are those in this world who will hear his message clearly.... and those who will not.... because it was not meant for them.... and it is not in them to understand. His show Black Jesus has a subliminal spiritual message attached, and there will be those who will cause an uproar of indignation and confusion to change this message, to silence it, as with the Boondocks. His stereotypical depictions of the black man/woman living in war torn Compton drinking, cussing, fighting, stealing, getting high and basically living a ratchet lifestyle is a reflection of the state of mind many of our black men/women have today. He has placed this so called Jesus to be living amongst his people once again in modern times as he did in biblical times. Jesus attitude, mannerisms and off put ways must fit alongside those of his homeboys hood lifestyles on the show in order for him to truly understand and relate to their every day trials and tribulations...... and to reveal to them how their own morally corrupt and spiritually bankrupt behavior has gotten them into this state of affairs today. I dont feel that McGruders intent was to cause racial tension or to insult anyone, but rather to show how far the black man/woman has fallen from grace and will continue to fall if they do not repent in their ways and return back to the laws, statues, and commandments of the Most High. Our ancestors were of royalty and status, rulers and conquerors of the world, a spiritual and just people. We transgressed against the laws of the Most High and he allowed harsh and unjust punishments to be set upon us as our fate. You see, this so called Jesus (TMH) was a black man too, a Hebrew Israelite from Jerusalem who delivered his people (our ancestors) out of bondage from Egypt 2000 yrs ago. We and our ancestors are HIS descendants, of his lineage, his bloodline....and he is on his way back to deliver HIS people out of bondage once again as was promised. This chapter for all is quickly coming to a close......because the time is nigh.....and this show that McGruder created is here to serve its purpose....because he is wise and understands... and he is in step with his role.
