James E. “Bo” Leonard, age 68, of Piney Flats, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his home. He was born January 27, 1945 in Avery, NC and had lived in the Blountville and Piney Flats area all of his life and was retired from the Sullivan County School Dept. where he worked as a carpenter for thirty years. Mr. Leonard was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his loving mom, Mildred Hicks Leonard, by a son, Ronald Leonard, and a brother, Billy Hicks. He was president of Fraternal Lodge #93 of Woodman of the World. Survivors: Wife: Loving wife of 26 years, Kathy Combs Leonard Children: Janene Daniels and husband Dean, Edward Leonard and special friend Sandra Addari, Donna Hatcher and husband Brett, Cody Leonard Grandchildren: Brandy Holt and husband Todd, Josh Daniels and fiancé Kayla Stinnett, Daniel Leonard, Kassidy Leonard, Grasyn and Emma Hatcher Sisters: Linda Henley and husband Joe, Pam Leonard Brother: Ronnie Leonard Several nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Lovelace and Rev. Jackie Cox officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 PM prior to the funeral service. The committal service and burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at Sunrise Cemetery.
