They have already written their head lines, beautiful articles, brilliant Op-eds, logical tweets and sensational Facebook posts. Tomorrow theyd splash the pictures of the dead children all over the media. Im already seeing the posts and hearing their maniacal tantrums . Tomorrow will be a great day for them. They did it when President Jonathan was going to Kano to receive decamped APC members, and they have done it many other times the President was about to take political decisions. Now, a day to the declaration by the President, they went to bomb innocent children in their school. Why? Why? Why? Atiku declared there was no bombing, buhari declared there was no bombing, Kwakwanso declared there was no bombing. Rochas and Nda -Isaiah declared, we didnt hear of any bomb blast. Now Jonathan declares bombs went off killing innocent school Children. Are some people still in denial of whats happening? We know those who threatened to make the North ungovernable should Jonathan or any other Southerner become President in 2011. We know those who said the dog and the baboon will be soaked in blood If they arent allowed to be President of Nigeria. We know those who supported Boko haram with their actions and utterances; some said Boko Haram people were freedom fighters, fighting because of the low revenue accruing to the North East States from the Federation account. They forgot to tell us how much the North East contribute to that same federation account. They wont tell us because they contribute 0 Naira! How could people who ought to be grateful because they live off their neighbours be the ones holding everyone to ransome???? Crazy! Others said attacks against Boko haram were attacks against the North. Same person said Boko Haram ought to be treated like royalties- now that same person wants to be President of Nigeria? How??? Now,who will blame President Jonathan for declaring for the Presidency today because there was a bomb blast yesterday? Would they have the President postpone the declaration or not to declare at all? Assuming the President decides not to declare at all, who would have won at the end? I leave that question for you to answer. For me, the President should go on and declare for the Presidency, contest, and Nigerians should come out enmasse to vote him in again. This is the only path to Nigerias prosperity, peace and progress at this time. This would show to the troublers of Nigeria that the path to the Presidency of Nigeria is not bombing and killing people. We are all Nigerians.They are not more Nigerians than us! IF THE GEESE THAT LAY THE GOLDEN EGGS ARE HARANGUED LIKE THIS, ARE THEY SAYING THEY ARE ONLY FIT TO BE FETCHERS OF WATER AND HEWERS OF WOOD, EVEN AFTER CARRYING THIS COUNTRY FOR SO LONG??? HABA! As I have always said, Jonathan’s Government is the most achieving weve had for a very long time now. We may not be where we should be yet, but we are certainly not where we are- better federal roads than when he came; better federal Universities than when he came; better railways than when he came; better Airports than when he came; better elections than when he came; better inter Government relationships than when he came; more regards for the rule of law than when he came; more free speech than when he came; more freedom in the political space than when he came; better foreign reserve than when he came; better accountability and transparency in governance than when he came; better electricity than when he came; all these are verifiable. Blessed is he/she who takes no offence at Jonathan for offence sake.
