James Mcdonald has earned some frequent flyer miles these past few months..tonight hes riding in the 1.15 million dollar singapore derby on feisty leo{which ive already backed at $31..lol now into $18 ...heres a little of a recent inteview with uk racing website ukracing.......please not the HUGE mistake that was made in the interview....rofl Friday 7 June 2013 New Zealand star rider James McDonald has arrived in England and is housed with Charles Hills at Lambourn. The 21-year-old has had a meteoric rise having been champion apprentice five times and champion jockey in New Zealand as an apprentice three times. This year McDonald has been associated with It’s A Dundeel, the Australian horse that has secured the Guineas-Derby double down under ahead of a possible tilt at Royal Ascot next season. McDonald also honed his skills in Hong Kong, where he won the lucrative BMW Champions Mile on the former Clive Cox-trained Xtension. McDonald only decided to come to England two weeks before his departure and will be leaving these shores in July.
