Since the early 18th and 19th century, European scholars have been trying desperately and feverishly 2 claim the civilization of ancient Kemet (Egypt) solely 4 that of Europe itself. European bigotry and racism 2wards people of African descent was at an all time high. The Europeans had been snooping around Africa discovering ancient relics and monuments obviously African in origin, but would be overlooked due 2 the incredible prejudice, contempt and bigotry most Europeans have 2wards African people. The Arabs also, much like the Europeans in their immense hatred of African people, would also try 2 lay claim 2 the civilization of ancient Egypt in the Nile Valley of Africa. When in fact, Europeans and Arabs were not even in existence when Egypt was founded. But on January 28th-February 3rd, 1974, in Cairo, Egypt at the UNESCO symposium, 2 African men alone would challenge the bigotry and prejudice of European and Arab scholars. Their names were Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar, Senegal and Theophile Obenga of Brazzaville, Congo. The issue at the UNESCO symposium was The Peopling of Ancient Egypt and the Deciphering of the Meroitic Script Cheikh Anta Diop was a well established historian, anthropologist,physicist, and politician. Theophile Obenga was also a well established historian and professor emeritus at San Francisco State University at the African Studies Center. Obenga accompanied Diop as Africas representatives at the symposium. Though their opposition was great, Obenga and Diop came well prepared 2 the symposium and they made the opposing delegates sit up and take notice that they came prepared 4 war. Obenga and Diop proved that the origins of the civilizations in the Nile Valley began at the beginning of the Nile which is in the heartland of Africa near Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania. They showed how the culture moved north up the Nile in2 Nubia, where the first kingdom of Ta-Seti was built and predated Egypt by 200 years. Ta-Seti had pyramids, temples, monuments and hieroglyphs just like Egypt did and that Egypts origins were from within so called Darkest Africa. Diop also invented a Melanin Dosage Test by which he could test the melanin content in the mummies 2 prove their African identity. He did so with some of the ones he was able 2 get 2. Once he proved his theory, protracted efforts from the Cairo Museum and others, made certain 2 block Diop from using the test on some of the more famous mummies. The opposing European and Arab delegates had 2 admit that these 2 African men had come well prepared 2 prove their case. One of the delegates on the opposition against Obenga and Diop stood up and said (paraphrasing), Alright! Its clear the languages r African. And the people r clearly African. But they r still Mediterranean dark Caucasoids! But u see the incredible psychopathic racism of European and Arab scholars 2 still deny the obvious because of their immense contempt 4 African people. And its still going on some 40 years later from that day in 1974. Just look at that weak ass, blatantly racist movie by Ridley Scott, Gods and Kings: The Exodus where he has all white actors playing the prominent roles of pharaohs and queens, and blacks playing the subservient and thief roles. European and Arab bigotry is relentless in its protracted efforts 2 claim Egypt and other ancient African civilizations like Carthage and others, 4 themselves, and relegating the African always below the Sahara desert. The whole purpose of the scholastic discipline of Egyptology is designed as a smoke screen by Eurocentric and Arabcentric scholars, 2 hide the Africaness of ancient Egypt. No other civilization in the history of the world has a scholastic discipline specifically made 4 a culture like Egyptology. And its all due 2 the European and Arabs immense contempt, prejudice, bigotry and hatred of African people. But the truth is coming out and their Eurocentric and Arabcentric lies dont have a leg 2 stand on.
