James and I went for a drive yesterday, lunched at The Brewery in Beechworth, then last night I went to the movies with a friend. I have loved catching up with so many people since coming home, I appreciate the diversity in my friendship group with each and every one of you bringing something special to my life. As reminded by Robyn King the other night, often our friends are unaware or do not know the rest of the circle and yet are all part of it. Thank you to the many of you who are donating books for Di Wicks and her project in India. It was heart warming to hear from Amanda who went with her children to buy books for this project. Her children donated their gift money last year to buy goats, chickens and give towards a water well. What an inspirational mother, who is instilling compassion and kindness to our fellow man, in her children. Many of you have been generous so far with your donations and I am expecting many more books from Newcastle to Wagga Wagga. I am afraid my suitcase will be overloaded on the way back from Sydney on the 19th of March. Tomorrow after work, I head to Melbourne to see my other son (the one who thinks he is mine lol) and his beautiful wife Rene and son Cooper. I havent seen them for ages so very excited at this point. Today I took Tillie to the river for her swim, she was retrieving sticks each time I threw them in the water when I suddenly noticed a tiger snake in the water, my heart stopped as I hate snakes and she responded to my urging to return to my side, I went home still shaking. Have a great week.
