James shared an amazing revelation with us in James 1:2, Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds. I come back to this one frequently, realizing that it is truly the key to living a victorious life, and kicking butt in spiritual warfare, but Holy Spirit just showed me how even more amazing and deep this revelation that James had is! This one, seemingly insignificant or impossible verse to many, nearly sums up the entirety of walking out the beatitudes! James took the sermon on the mount, Matthew 5:3-12, and essentially said, Look! When your broken, beaten up, ridiculed, destitute, and stripped of everything, but you rise up and be kind to others, while praising God, youve totally walked out the Saviors powerhouse teaching! This is ridiculously simple, though it may not always be easy! Just remember Hes fully equipped you for the job! Run with me Church!
