James update: During the night, he had a clot and some more bleeding from his mouth. So, today, the doctors feel that even though James numbers have been stable, he has in fact not been doing well. I just got here to the hospital. They were still in the process of doing a bronch. They just finished. They have gotten a lot of clots. Apparently their plan is to put him on a different type of dialysis, turn off heparin, and then clip off the ECMO. The hope is that taking off heparin after clearing the lungs will allow the bleeding to clot in the lungs and would allow proper working conditions. So, Prayer Warriors, we need you now more than ever before! We are fully aware that even modern medicine can only take us so far. We rely on it, but ultimately, this is in Gods hands. We put our trust in Him for His will to be done. We thank you for all of your thoughts, inquiries, and most of all your prayers. We know that James and his well being is important to yall and yall are living through this agony with us. God is still in control! Thank you all so much!
