Jamie Duley, a physical therapist and a faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at U of M - Flint, in heading a study at FHS. As concussions are becoming more of a concern in our society, understanding the balance in adolescents becomes more important than ever before. Ms. Duley is conducting research with several other U of M - Flint faculty members on the balance abilities of adolescents who may be susceptible to sport related or non-sport related concussions. FHS students will be bringing home documents to describe the study, and seeking parent permission to allow our students to participate. The study will only take 15-20 minutes per student. Student will be able to participate with a signed consent form, returned to the front office.
