Jamilah Luthfiyah Mushana Aida Mustafa Our house is a bit tricky. We sometimes hear crying sound from a distance. I would run over from our sofa in front of the tv to the bedroom to check on our daughter and she would be sleeping, calm and quiet as the log. It might not be a trick at all. I think its just crazy parental instinct. To think up crazy sounds when theres nothing, really. We were hanging out on the sofa, watching tv as always when we hear the distant crying sound. My husband looked at me, expectantly. Hey why me? I always go. You go tend to her! I said, pushing at him playfully. After a few moment of pushing around, trying to shift responsibility, my husband gave in. He was laughing, starting to get off the sofa. When he stopped midway. Wait. Didnt we sent her to my parents last night? We froze. We did actually send her off because i was going out of town tomorrow. Which we always do. We both turned to the closed bedroom door. The distant almost inaudible sound started to get louder. And clearer. ..mommy..daddy...huuuhuu..mommy..huuuuhuuu.... P/s: this is absolutely fictional hhehehhehe
