Jammuties have to unite and strengthen Jammu’s leadership Er. Jitender Kohli Published in Jammu Kashmir NEWSPOINT on 30/8/2013 Finding confused society because of confused governing attitude of the politicians makes one to pond for the possible facts dragging the nation to this situation. The interpretation of secular philosophy of the anti-BJP political parties remain finding ways to clinch governing is perhaps their single motto of the existence at the same time the opposition parties clamoring for governing are also deep drown in the similar lust. There are numerous incidences of violence, terrorism and communal riots which mostly seem patronized by those political parties which are permitting the separatist, anti-national elements to go against the nation beyond the bottom line of the traitor starts. The valley centric leaders and separatists are openly acting and raising anti-national and independence slogans. The valley centric leaders stood with those who cleansed the valley of the non-valley-Muslims and the Congress remained as a spectator. Aftermath was more shocking when the congress formed state governments with collation hooking valley centric political parties who indisputably stand for autonomy, self-rule and further isolating valley Muslims from the national mainstream but poisoning against Hindu community to make them flee from the Muslim dominating zones in Jammu region too. Practically the Muslim of Jammu region stands for the national integrity believes in mutual harmony and prefers co-existence. The valley based politicians have polarized the Jammu region by settling Muslims from valley and importing from other states, Bangladesh and Myanmar. The militants from Pakistan are provided route to enter the state in disguise of rehabilitation camouflaging with Pakistani wives and children. It seems perhaps the valley centric leadership is manipulating and organizing to confine the Hindu community being in minority to those two and half districts they name while spiting venom against nation. The society is neither shocked nor upset by these acts and sophism from valley but society is expressively troubled of the congress behaviour and silence on the most important issues such as to let loose of majority community in Kishtwar to financially, physically and mentally destroy the minority community. The state has National Conference – Congress coalition government which could check this inhuman occurrence in Kishtwar. Its failure raises a series of questions in the mind of the society as why did not the local administration act when posters of Afzal guru & Maqbul Bhatt both death row terrorist, appeared in Kishtwar with message written in Urdu of Jihad through holy war? Why the government has not get rid of undesirable elements from Kishtwar when they knew the NIA has exposed main organizers in the September 2011 blasts outside Delhi High Court leaving 15 people dead, belonged to Kishtwar? Why the government has not taken precautionary measures to avert the Kishtwar violence taking into account the fact that tension had been brewing in the area for quite sometime as well as the fact that three youth of minority community were beaten by some of the majority community? How the government remained inactive when Intelligence agencies had reportedly warned the administration a week after the Gool incident in July that the situation could worsen in this area? Why the government failed in providing protection to the minority community in the wake of eve-teasing incidence on 29th July by the majority community during the holy Kailash Yatra that resulted in injuries to two youth? The instigating announcements from the Mosques in this state have become a routine for the separatist and anti-national elements to use the innocent Muslim community in the name of holy Jihad to protect Islam. Every religious place is administrated by a management committee the audio equipment can only be used with their permission or the consent of the incharge of these equipments who are still at liberty to do so due to negligence of the coalition government, the society asks why the government has not so far booked these elements that are instrumental in getting anti-nationalist to make such instigating announcements? Delirious society wanders to know if some days before Eid, the police had prepared a list of people who were fomenting trouble, but they were prevented by the state’s Junior Home Minister Kitchloo from arresting them? Nationalists are seeking a fact that, on 9th August Eid, about 1000 people from various villages, including Pushi, Hullar, Bandarna and Sangrambatta came to Kishtwar carrying guns, petrol canisters and holding Pakistani flags. Has the administration put them behind the bars that are exposed in the print media carrying Pakistani flag on that 9th August Eid at Kishtwar society ponders for it? Common people ask government if it is a truth that some people in the procession passing through a minority community locality called Kuleed, shouted anti-India, pro-Pakistani and pro-Azadi slogans. Every community is asking why the local administration didn’t intervene or take any action against the anti-national elements when they indulged in anti-national activities even those who were burning shops of minority community in front and around the police station Kishtwar? The society is shocked to know that when Kishtwar was burning Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo, the local police chief and District Commissioner remained dumb and deaf sitting in Kishtwar Dak Bungalow along 200 police personnel made dummy to silently watch the acts of anti-national elements? Even the administration has not recovered those looted arm during the curfew period in and around Kishtwar? Society is shocked that many of rioters had left Kishtwar the very next day the curfew was imposed? How it happened in curfew period? These incidences are perturbing the society that law has variant yard-sticks for the government employees may be for their excellent or discretion in performing duties. Three those employees are suspended whose audio system failed in the public meeting of the Honourable CM of state but at the same time the disaster violence of Kishtwar happening under nose of Junior Home Minister Mr. Kitchloo, the local police chief and District Commissioner were neither suspended nor put on trial for their failure in performing their duty. The Junior Home Minister also falls in the status of a public servant being paid by the public representative government from the public exchequer. Why the state collation government has not initiated action against these defaulters, society ponders for? The society seeks facts and not political statements. The state Congress unit has Jammuties sympathies for their troubled status being used by the High Command ignoring their honour and status. Jammuties are pained by finding JNPP supremo busy outside the state having least time in this region to fight for their cause, BJP leadership has damaged themselves with the unholy act of voting still bleeding in many shapes, other political parties have least existence and the mushroom of NGOs carry support of finger-tip count numbers. The NC and PDP valley centric political parties have also limited support as the majority of Jammuties know their designs revolving around autonomy or self-rule or valley vote bank of majority community. The society wonders how they are surviving in such un-healthy political and social atmosphere where leadership is being found isolated from the common people and some are ruling the state at the anti-national cards. The Jammu leadership is cornered by the nexuses of valley centric and congress High command nexuses. The Jammuties have to unite and strengthen Jammu’s leadership to come out of these nexuses shadow to force the state, Union governments to provide honour and their right of equality.
