Jan 13, 2015 (NKJV)Zechariah 7:9-10 Thus says the LORD of hosts: Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. [10] Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother. Beloved. calvary greetings to you in Jesus name. This morning, our Bible reading from the book of Zechariah is explaining the just nature of our God. our God is just and he want his people to reflect his justice in their lives. From the above bible reading, God tells Zachariah what he expects of his people. 1, be honest and fair in all your doings as this reflects the compassionate nature of our God. 2, dont take bribe as this act makes one compromises his/her faith. 3, be merciful and kind as this act shows the inner beauty of Christ in you. This are easy prescription which have been tested over time for one who want to be like Jesus in all that he does and not just in what he is called CHRISTAIN. this attributes made it difficult to recognize Christ among his disciples as they all live and portray a uniform spirit and attitude.
