Jan 18. The recent snowstorm dumped enough snow and had strong enough winds that it made life miserable for a couple of days. We had a short day on Thursday with near zero visability and a long day on Friday with plowing starting at 4:30 in the morning. All in all, the fishing was up and down as it usually is with storms. Most are catching supper and a few take homes while others are doing even better. We have had to move parts of the road lately due to bad ice situations so please be careful and watch the road ahead of you. Our fixes include curves that will require you to slow down a little. Everybody is marking a lot of fish and those who work at it with smaller lures and presentations are doing a little better. We will be extending the road again tomorrow and digging the houses out after this last storm.
