Jan 2015 - Urgent Medical Cases - Please Help January 2015 has started for PMAR with an overwhelming set of urgent medical situations. One crisis is tough, but three at the same time is too much - https://youcaring/Jan2015UrgentMedical - and we desperately need your help to pay the medical bills for Betty Boo, Bluesy, and Graph. Betty Boo - a 2 year old Rottweiler that was brought to the NY shelter as a stray by the NYPD on Christmas day. She is very scared and was not doing well in the shelter environment. And now she has gotten sick. None of the Rottie rescues were available to help this scared lost soul, so the shelter asked us to help. And this is where the & More part of our name kicks in. We have transferred Betty to our vet where she has had to have been placed in an oxygen chamber to help her breathing to combat the pneumonia that has developed while she has been at the shelter. Graph - a very special dog who has had way too much bad luck since we first met her. She has had entropion surgery twice, but her corneas are still getting damaged. At this point, we require a specialist to do a grade 3 surgery to hopefully fix it once and for all. Graph will lose her sight if she doesnt get this surgery. Bluesy - a sweet 2 year old stray that ended up at the shelter with a horribly injured rear left leg. The shelter indicated that her injury was due to recently being hit by a car. When she arrived at her new fosters home, it was immediately apparent that this is an older injury. Remarkably, Bluesy is actually able to walk on the mangled leg. And despite the pain of the leg, she is incredibly sweet and welcoming to everyone she meets. Bluesy is on her way to the vet in the morning for a complete exam. We are hoping that something can be done to save the leg. We will know more tomorrow after the exam. Please, we need your help! The vet care to treat Betty Boos pneumonia, Graphs eye surgery, and Bluesys leg is expensive and we want to them all to get the best of care. With your help, Betty Boo can get the quick care needed to stop the infection before it gets worse and threatens her life, Graph can get the needed surgery to correct her problem, relieve her pain, and save her sight, and Bluesy can get the care to help treat her leg and have her out and running around enjoying life. Please give whatever you can. No amount is too small and every donation will be greatly appreciated. You can donate via Paypal to pibblesrus33@gmail or by using a special YouCaring page we have set up for all 3 dogs. https://youcaring/Jan2015UrgentMedical PMAR is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are fully tax deductible. Thank you in advance and stay tuned for updates on Betty Boo, Graph and Bluesy. pmarinc.org - facebook/pmarinc
