Jan. 21 This video, among other things, gives credence to the fact that even though a certain Jamal Rutledge was in his Low point in life, he has still something good left in his heart for others and in the process saved life. For those advocates of Death Penalty please ponder a thousand times. We may have valid human reasons to push for death penalty as a means to curb criminality (was it successful in many countries with death penalty?), but this right to kill criminals or even suspected criminals -some through the short-cut extra-judicial killings, only, and only belongs to God! God said,For my thoughts are not your thoughts, my ways are not your ways, says Yahweh.Isaiah 55:8. And for those who summarily execute suspected or convicted criminals either as masterminds, gun-for-hires, or as look-outs, are we without sin before the All-knowing, and All-seeing God? (See Sirach 23:19). Do we entertain the thought that since the ones summarily executed are criminals or suspected criminals, we are doing a good job for the community and especially to God? And therefore, surely to be rewarded in the afterlife? God sternly warns us all sinners to Do good and shun evil so that you will live secure forever.Psalm 37:27 And that God, can not and never, be deceived: Do not be fooled. God can not be deceived. You reap what you sow.Gal. 6:7. He can not be deceived by mere good works done even to the poor; by our human prestige; by our mere profession of faith and love for God, (James 2:26); by mere millions of mass cards offered for us after death, etc. Let us pray for illumination and conversion of all sinners, including our own wrecthed lives! With Mary, the sorrowful mother of the Passion we ask for this grace, Alleluia amen!
