Jan 27th The high priestess She sits in a tree high above the forest floor drinking in the light of the moon as it rises high. When the moon reaches its peak she brings out a pomegranate gives thanks to the Sacred feminine (Goddess) and breaks into the fruit to get at the sacred seeds within. Dressed in purple and adorned with feathers and leaves she is the embodiment of wisdom and intuition. An owl flies by and calls out to her. she looks at it, smiles, then turns her gaze to you. She looks long and hard at you and offers you three seeds with a question and a condition. Only if you are sure this is what you want and How hard are you to dig for the knowledge I have to offer you? The High Priestess is the keeper of spiritual knowledge but her knowledge is never just given away for free. she makes you work for the answers to make sure you are able to handle them and are honestly worth them. She encourages time for solitude and meditation, But not isolationism and when this happens she forces you to interact if necessary. She is the keeper of secrets and tells you to listen to your intuition when it knocks on the inner door of your mind. She warns us to look at ourselves and see what guilty pleasures we have that are in danger of becoming addictions. She tells us that grudges are pointless and only wast our time and energy. Beware the you may becoming more reactionary rather than proactive and take the necessary steps. She reminds up that withdrawing from a difficult situation is not always a bad thing, sometimes it is needed for our own personal health, discernment is needed though. Above all though she tells us that while it is important to keep our spiritual eyes open we CANNOT be forgetting to take care of our physical selves because that is also a part of our spirituality. shadowscapes/picts_images/26.jpg
