Jan Bauman : An Egyptian court after a sham trial has sentenced three Al jazeera reporters to 7 and 10 years in prison. Thousands have been arrested and have been held in secret prisons. And what did the Obama administration do? They restored all the military aid that had been briefly withheld and will be sending Egypt their full aid package. The US should instead be sending nothing to Egypt and putting sanctions on them. Sending this military aid to Egypt shows the hypocrisy of US foreign policy. Regimes that are friends of the US can violate human rights with impunity.
