Heritage President Jim Demint will unveil the new study at a press conference at 11:30 on Monday. ======================================================= cnsnews/news/article/penny-starr/cbp-alien-children-and-family-units-apprehende d-100-and-471-so-far-fy14 CBP: Alien Children and ‘Family Units’ Apprehended Up 100% and 471% So Far in FY14 August 8, 2014 - 6:41 PM By Penny Starr (CNSNews) – So far in fiscal 2014, which began on Oct. 1, the number of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) and “family units” (parent and child/children) apprehended at the U.S. border with Mexico has increased 100 percent and 471 percent, respectively, over fiscal 2013, according to new statistics released by Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
