Jane Eyre is behind us now, but up ahead FBT has a very exciting and busy weekend! It all starts Sunday afternoon when we open Goldi Locks and The Three Bears. Heroine, Goldi Lox, faces unthinkable perils as she seeks to save her Mothers house from the evil villain Snidley Mustache, while averting danger at every turn in Award-Winning Fort Bend Theatres production of Goldi Lox and the Three Bears. This hysterically funny, original melodrama is written by local playwright and our own executive artistic director, Tarra McCain. Will Goldi Lox ever find true love? Will she marry a doctor as mama hopes? Will she escape the treacherous Snidley Mustache who has tied her onto the train tracks? This and more will be answered when you attend this hilarious, melodramatic twist on the classic show. Tickets are only $9, and group rates are available for 10 or more. For a full list of shows and to get tickets, visit fortbendtheatre today! But if that was not fun enough, Sunday evening marks the first audition date for Les Miserables! Auditions are from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Those attending should bring a headshot and resume. They should also prepare a ballad. Have a conflict with this audition date? Never fear because Monday evening at the same time FBT will be holding another one for your convenience. Shortly after these two auditions a callback audition will be posted to the website. Speaking of Monday, while Les Mis auditions will be in the evening, Aladdin Jr. auditions are from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. If you plan on auditioning for this show, please come with a headshot and resume. We also ask that you are ready to sing a song from the show or movie, and that you be prepared for a cold read. A full list of rehearsals and show dates can be found at fortbendtheatre Hope to see everyone at one of these fun events soon!
