Janet tells me that the reason we dont get to keep critters that long is so we can rescue more of them. I was at Franklin Animal Clinic for Riley (routine stuff) today and saw this lil one. She was found by one of the staff and had kittens in her garage. The kittens all found homes. Mama (Shelly) as they called her, Lily as I am going to call her, is still very young. She had an abcess and had a tooth removed so her face wont always look like this. She is very sweet and loving. I am going to keep her on a trial basis for the weekend to see how the other cats do. Might be too soon for a new one or it might be perfect? Anyway...she is not sleeping at the clinic in a cage and for now she seems very grateful. Wish me luck. She lets me hold her and that is something not all cats like. She is on the skinny side but I wont hold that against her.
