Jansen exhibiting now until April 25th 2014: Dutch documentary and art photographer, Mathilde Jansen is one well-travelled artist. Living and working in Amsterdam and as an Artist in Residence, Mathilde Jansen has produced work based in The Czech Republic, Iran, Spain, England, Portugal and within the country her work and family are connected with, Tanzania (Dar es Salaam). Her work explores and reconstructs socio-economic, intercultural and environmental developments, adding new representations of reality to media imagery. Through documentary and staged photography, Mathilde Jansen portrays global connections both existing and imagined. In collaboration with Art Amplifier, Invisible Earth is her most recent collection, with photographic works and unique installations like Natural Presumption 2.0, exhibiting at 331 West until April 25th. https://facebook/events/227542167453796/?source=50
