January 14, 2015 - Lobby Day Participation – see us there or contact: Cathy Kristofferson As you may know, the revised Northeast Energy Direct pipeline which was partly rerouted into New Hampshire now includes a large compressor station to be sited in Northfield, MA – in the vicinity of several completed Mount Grace conservation projects. This is an important time to learn more about the proposed project and to educate others about the threat it represents to conserved land and other critical natural resources. At this year’s Environmental Bill Cosponsorship Event for legislators at the MA State House, Mount Grace will be joining with others at an information table to urge lawmakers to not sponsor and to Vote No on any future bill to dispose of Article 97 conservation lands for pipeline easements. We will also be visiting select Senators’ offices with the same message. All are invited to attend these events with me. Please share this invitation with others. Thank you, Leigh Youngblood, Mt.
