January 16, 2015 Come to me, and rest in my loving presence. You know that this day will bring difficulties, and you are trying to think your way through those trials. As you anticipate what is ahead of you, you forget that I am with you - now and always. Rehearsing your troubles results in experiencing them many times, whereas you are meant to go through them only when they actually occur. Do not multiply your suffering in this way! Come to me, all of you who are tired and have heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Accept my teachings and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your lives. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forget you. Joshua 1:5 I need to remember these Bible verses on a daily basis......Reminding myself again, I am not in control here....I need to let go and quit holding on to the hurtful things in my life that stick in my mind like glue.....I have to remember that everything is all in his plan and he will fix what needs fixing.....In this physical world it is so hard to let go of the things that we view in our eyes as wrongs. Its the pain that stems from the wrongs that we tend to hold on to....I am the worst when it comes to this....I tend to be a bossy, ugly Christian in times like these....I need to work on letting go and realize that Jesus is in control of every situation in my life.....Lord please give me wisdom and comfort when these situations arise, please remove the hurt from my heart and allow me to look past this and know that you are in control of every situation....give me strength to face the hurts and help me to have the strength to let my guard down so I wont be so bossy and controlling in these situations, In Jesus name. Amen.
