January 16, 2015 Hemi attended behavioral modification school this last Monday at Synergy Behavior Solutions and worked with Scott (Lead Trainer) and Jennie (Trainer). For those of you that are new to our journey, Hemi (dalmatian) has a history of severe dog-on-dog reactivity issues and has been attending school for the last year to help reduce his anxiety and fear based reactivity. They were nice enough to take a video of one training session where Hemi works on being in close proximity to another dog. The other dog in this video is Jazz who is part of Scott and Dr. Vallis family. Jazz is volunteered to assist their students through their training which benefits him as well since he has more mild dog-on-dog reactivity. While Hemi has a long road ahead of him to fully address his reactivity issues, we are so proud of how far he has come in this last year. Enjoy the video!! Video taken January 11, 2015
