January 18: To Prepare Her Members to be Agents of Transformation Pray that your congregation would join with others across the area to equip the body of Christ to do the work of the ministry, transform their spheres of influence, and impact the world for Christ in publicly meaningful and tangible ways. Pray for a foundation in the Word of God to be laid again in the lives of Christians and for the restoration of Biblical principals in God’s people in the greater Dayton area. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever. (Psalm 133:1-3; NASB95) His intention was the perfecting and full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), that they should do the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church) (Ephesians 4:12 AMPL).
