January 1977 - Queen shoots their promotional videos for “Spread Your Wings” and “We Will Rock You” in one day at Roger Taylor’s home in Surrey, England. The severance contract between John Reid and the band is signed during the shoot (in Mercury’s Rolls Royce). Both Reid and the band part ways amicably and Jim Beach takes on the role of negotiator for the band.
