According to Deputy Chris Kravitsky, a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 20-year-old male from Carsonville along with his 4 male passengers were westbound on French Line Rd. near Rowe Rd. when the driver lost control causing the vehicle to enter the north ditch and over turn. The 20-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger were transported from the scene to McKenzie Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Two additional male passengers were treated at the scene and released with minor injuries. Throughout the investigation it was found that one of the passengers had fled after the accident on foot. The 21-year-old male later responded to McKenzie for treatment of his injuries and was then arrested upon his release by Deputies for a misdemeanor warrant. Shortly after the accident had occurred the Sandusky Police Department took a report from a W. Morgan Street resident who reported the 2006 Chevrolet Equinox stolen. The Sandusky Police Department is handling the stolen vehicle portion of this incident. Names will not be released at this time due to an on-going investigation by the Sandusky Police Department.
