January 20, 1976 - Queen flies to New York City, New York, US, for advance press promotion before the start of the North American leg of the tour. Acording to Ian Hunter (2012 AVClub interview), his wife Trudi was on the same flight and told Queen that Hunter was in New York recording. Upon arriving, the band meets with Ian Hunter, and Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor and Brian May provide backing vocals for “You Nearly Did Me In” (All American Alien Boy sessions).
