January 21, 2015 Breeze of Grace God Hears Let this be recorded for future generations, so that a people not yet born will praise the Lord. 19 Tell them the Lord looked down from his heavenly sanctuary. He looked down to earth from heaven 20 to hear the groans of the prisoners, to release those condemned to die. Psalm 102:18-20 NLT I am visiting my family in Georgia this week. Four of my brothers were in the hospital within just days of each other for different reasons. (All four are believers in Christ and are walking a call of God upon them!) One fell from a ladder bruised his liver and injured his back; another was and still is going through an extreme cancer treatment (his 3rd); another found out while preparing to donate stem-cells to the brother being treated for cancer that he had major heart blockages and needed by-pass surgery; and then James had a stroke as a result of cancer surgery and after treatments 10 years ago! I felt like a boxer getting punched one round house after another! As I prayed over each of these men of God, I sensed our Father was up to something so phenomenal… everything was out of our control! God is leaving a record of living! Yes, even the dying saint is a record of living! Look around you today. There is a disease of hopelessness raging through every generation. Baby-boomers, generation X-ers, Generation Y-ers! Yet, God has not changed His mind or His purpose for you and me. He hears our groans of helplessness. Jesus Christ, was touched by everything we go through. I can only imagine what generations to come will say about our chapter in the Grace Story of Father God. “They were bombarded with all kinds of worldly schemes, philosophies, and troubles- yet, they (you and me) believed God and did not lose hope! PRAYER: Father God, Who can describe Your beauty, Lord? The song writer had it right when he penned, “Oh for 10,000 tongues to praise You Lord! Through all of life’s ups and downs You are faithful! Each minute detail, both the good and the bad, is created perfectly with divine order. All of creation cries out in unison, Youre the best, Lord. Thank You for loving me! Jesus, You are Lord, Amen!
