January 22, 2014 – Thought and Poem Have you ever gone through a rough period in your life and felt that there was nothing left for you to grasp hold of? Often a bad day will leave us feeling like there are no “good” days ahead for us in our future. To cheer ourselves up, we call a friend or anyone for that matter and as we listen to them talk about their dreams and how they plan to attain them, we find ourselves being inspired. The excitement they relate for having fulfilled a dream of their own, even if for just a moment, leave us feeling like we can try something too. We then begin to think of our own goals or dreams that we would like to see come true. Before we know it, we have forgotten about our “bad” day and we are now channel our awakened spirit watered by the strength and courage of another, to motivate us. What about you? Do you still have dreams or goals? If so, how are you inspired by the accomplishments of others? Share your thoughts with us…Jeanne Claire Probst Dreams Days come and go, like the waves of the sea, But don’t let your dreams get away from thee. Visualize them as having already come true, This will make attaining them more real to you. Never stop dreaming for a better way, To live our tomorrows and what is left of our today, Keep your dreams simple and easy to reach, When reaching these, we will gain the strength and confidence to continue to dream. Never let a bad day make you lose track Of the dreams you hold dear, never take a step back. Keep aiming for the direction you wish to go, When you do reach your destination…fulfilling your dream…all will know. We will see your joy and be joyous with you, We will rejoice and be happy for you too. We will see the strength and the courage it took to get to where you wanted to be, And these will make us want to try to set goals for ourselves, so please may you never stop dreaming.
