January 25 YOU WILL NOT STRUGGLE AGAIN. Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 32: 7-13 7 Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you: 8 when the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam; He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel. 9 For the Lords portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance. 10 He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. 11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings, 12 So the Lord alone led him, and there was no foreign god with him. 13 He made him ride in the heights of the earth, that he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock and oil from the flinty rock; Meditation: Psalm 103: 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagles. The Message The eagle doesnt struggle to fly like other birds; it simply soars. The eagle rides on the storm, which destroys other birds. It is chickens that make noise and flap with all their might, struggling to fly, but eagles glide against the currents of the wind. And the Bible likens the Believer to an eagle (Isaiah 40:3 1). That is how God wants you to rely on Him and relax. There isnt much you can do for a person who is drowning and yet struggling, so lifeguards tell such people, Be still, because a drowning and struggling man can injure or even drown the person that is trying to save him. This year, you will not struggle. David did not pray to be king of Israel. God located him by favour and made him king. Likewise Joseph did not pray for a coat of many colours. Many of the things you are praying for, if you would stop struggling and just rest on God, He will do them for you. I decree that whatever you have struggled till now to get, will come to you with ease this month, in Jesus name! Prayer Points: • Heavenly Father, every door I have been knocking that refused to open to me till now, let them open for me this month, in Jesus name. • Lord, as I wait on you this month, renew my youth like that of the eagles; let me begin to accomplish great things with ease where others are struggling, in Jesus mighty name. • Oh God, give me the grace to trust you more; to be still while you do your will in my life, in Jesus name. • Lord Jesus, I want to make Heaven; whatever I will do, that will make You blot my name out of the book of life, please Lord, in Your mercy help me not to do it.
