January 26, 2014 Issued as of 7:23 a.m. No Travel Advisory extended to central North Dakota The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have issued a No Travel Advisory for central North Dakota due to blowing and drifting snow causing zero visibility. Cities included in the No Travel Advisory are Devils Lake, Jamestown, Valley City and surrounding areas. Conditions are such that motorists in this area should not travel. A No Travel Advisory remains in effect for Williston, Minot, Watford City, Killdeer, Bismarck, and surrounding areas due to blowing and drifting snow causing zero visibility. A Travel Alert remains in effect for the cities of Grand Forks, Fargo, and surrounding areas due to blowing and drifting snow causing reduced visibility. All travelers are encouraged to monitor road conditions as weather conditions occur and use caution while traveling. For road information, call 511 from any type of phone or go to the website: dot.nd.gov. NDDOT releases information to inform the public about travel conditions throughout the state.
