January 27, 2014 0730 hrs. I cannot believe I am surviving this blizzard and hurricane force winds, the snow is damn near the top of my foot. Due to expected power outages, I have the fire blazing, candles throughout the house and I am sweating in my boxer shorts and wife beater since the power is still on. When the snow towered at an inch and a half, In my panic, I exhausted our supply of 20 loaves of bread and 32 gallons of milk. What a time to learn I am lactose intolerant. I am now ready to put down the wifes favorite dog, Scooter in order to ensure our survival. Hopefully things do not get really bad in the next couple of hours, otherwise the wife will meet the same fate. I just hope to survive, if I do, I will provide updates.
