January 2nd, 2015... THE STANDARD OF TRUTH... (john 1:1)- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. BREAKDOWN!!!- In the previous post we learned that the Israelites stopped seeking the TRUE LIVING GOD in replacement for their own concept of a convenient God. This is what brought destruction through and to their nation and all the cultures thereof. This is a reflection of our very own nation as we speak... The second problem Israel faced, which led to their decay, was that their the priest had stopped teaching the TRUTH and their were no longer any teaching priests... They had traded enlightenment for entertainment! The church was no longer the center of taken God seriously...Too often, we see the same pattern with our preachers or pastors today. We trade in enlightenment and raw truth for people pleasing and entertainment hoping that we get good reviews and people that are not offended so we can feel accomplished that the seats are full in the HOUSE OF GOD! The problem with this is, that the lack of TRUTH leads to a conscienceless society. People become reprobate or numb in their conscience, losing their sense of right and wrong!!! This is where we must understand God and His nature of operation... In EVERYTHING HE IS AND DOES, HE DOES IT IN DECENCY AND ORDER and their is always a STANDARD that HE SETS AND RAISES if need... the standard tithe is 10 percent. He will raise a STANDARD against the enemy when he floods in. the standard of any conversation, view, opinion, revelation, insight, study, theology, belief etc, should have a standard of TRUTH... That TRUTH is the ONE AND ONLY TRUE LIVING GOD!!!
