January 3, 1967 - Jack Ruby died in a Dallas, TX, hospital. Jack Ruby, the man who killed Oswald before he could be brought to trial, and resulted in the unlikelihood we would know the truth behind the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The whole thing was surreal, the shooting, the too speedy identification and capture of a suspect, and his assassination in front of TV cameras. You might recall that after his capture, Oswald claimed: Im a patsy . Was Oswald the killer, or was he set up to take the fall? Was he just a loose end and Ruby sent to clean up loose ends? We will never really know unless someone makes a deathbed confession and spills the beans. Oswald was demonized and never allowed to tell his story.
