Japan has and will always allure me in every respect. The sheer discipline of this nation is sufficiently captivating. Almost 128 million people live in roughly some 380,000 square Kilometers of land and producing a gross national product of approximately 6.5 trillion dollars. That places about 337 people in each Square Kilometer of land, if spread evenly. Please keep an open mind while I provide some more significant numbers that ought to be interesting to most of you. Jordan, Palestine and Israel, combined, accommodate some 20 million people in an area of just about 120,000 Square Kilometers of land, generating almost 300 Billion dollars of GDP. Nearly, 166 inhabitants per Square Kilometer of land, if evenly spread. As visionaries, kindly perceive some sort of an economic unity between the three states. The sheer magnitude of it all is stunning. Water, energy sources, arable lands and industrious people; a formula for utter success. Just and durable peace will prevail. New generations will have a solid chance to live and excel in peace and harmony. What is stopping all that, in my opinion, the lack of bold and genuine politicians? Those who are willing to put their lives on the line for a better future. Similar to the ones who transformed the tragedies of Hiroshima and Nagasaki into today’s Japan. Just a thought.
