Japanese Translator/Interpreter Guidewire Software - Tokyo, Japan (Within 23 wards, Tokyo, Japan) Job Description Japanese Translator / Interpreter Guidewire Software delivers proven, modern software to run mission-critical insurance operations, including underwriting, policy, billing and claim management. Guidewire is seeking a temporary translator and interpreter to support English speaking team members in their dealings with customers and prospective customers. The translator / interpreter will: Work closely with our US consultants on a customer site and interpret to support their communication with the customer/partner project team Translation of emails, reports, presentation materials as required in the project Written translation/localization of existing Services documents like White Paper, methodology documents, SOW template, etc. Translation of marketing materials Localization of website, customer videos Interpretation at customer meetings with Guidewire executives Ad-hoc translation needs for Sales Required Skills: 3 years plus interpretation experience, ideally experience in customer projects or company in-house translation (rather than one-time only meetings/events) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Native level of Japanese fluency, business level English Software industry, Insurance industry knowledge a strong plus Confident presentation when performing in front of customers knowledgeable regarding Japanese business etiquette, preferably experience of working for Japanese companies Company Description Guidewire Software is a provider of core system software to the global Property/Casualty (general) insurance industry.
