Jared and I have been dating for over three months now... All - TopicsExpress

Jared and I have been dating for over three months now... All except for a week and a half have been LONG DISTANCE. Im not talking about hours from each other, or even different states in America. Im talking about 4,726 miles from one another. From America to England. Im talking about 7 hour timezone difference that weve have to overcome. Yet... We have. We did. It wasnt easy, believe me. We fought. We cried. Distance seems to make people weak. It seems to scare people into not pursuing what they know is right, even if God tells them that this is their Blessing. Distance has this really annoying way of amplifying every little thing to make it seem like a really big thing. This is why Ive never done long distance relationships. Until three months ago... I knew we had a connection from the very beginning. It was plain as can be. We talked and really got a chance to get to know one another. We used the distance as an opportunity to grow without that physical temptation in our faces. We talked on the phone most every day. We chatted every single day. We skyped 2-3 times every week. We scripture studied with each other! We prayed with each other! We discussed doctrine and our faith and beliefs with each other! We created an emotional AND spiritual bond with one another from almost 5 THOUSAND MILES away. After three months, were finally together in the flesh and everything, this blessing, has really started to unfold into this beautiful life we have been working for. Brothers and sisters, I testify to you a long distance is hard BUT if its in Gods Will for you, it is worth it. Dont be afraid. Trust and acknowledge Him in all things. Be kind and patient. Love isnt perfect and neither are we, but we musnt stop striving to be Christlike. Be the best that you can be so that you are worthy when God decides that its your turn to receive this blessing. And know that when it is your turn... Open your eyes and ears... Soften your heart... And humble yourself. Weve spent so much time growing alone. When you find your eternal companion, learn to grow together. And this I bear to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Sister C Admin Team
