Jarndyce and Jarndyce drones on. This scarecrow of a suit has, in course of time, become so complicated, that no man alive knows what it means. The parties to it understand it least... (tl;dr - Mike (for a change) had a nice morning in Court.) In Dickens _Bleak House_, the probate case of Jarndyce vs Jarndyce drags on in the Court of Chancery for generations until the estate which is the subject of the case is completely consumed by legal fees and Court costs. This morning I closed out two Probate matters involving fairly simple petitions that have dragged on ridiculously long. The older of the two was filed last October. But theyre done now!
