Jasmine Joi is an amazing women entrepreneurs of the Mr and Mrs Einstein Ice and Coffee Shoppe in Edgewood. I and her sat down today to discuss wealth creating habits. I shared with her how over 15y residing in Georgia I have spent $147,000 on renting residential and $45,000 on renting cars which I own neither and lost in repos.....tragedy. I shared with her in 2009 I had to be honest with myself and say I had bunches of money pass through my hands but did not have nothing to show for it which is not a good steward of the wealth God gave me. I shared with her how last year I got rid of all things which was money-waster. I got rid stuff that did not create income. I shared with her most companies startup, small and large are hit by cash flow issues which do not mean the company is not a good. But, it do mean we did not set ourselves up for success. I shared with how I invest in things which can be collateralized, cash converted or liquidized. I shared with her buying lots and real estate in still a down housing market has been my target which has cash equity. I shared with her there is a big difference between wealthy thinking and wealthy habits. Yall, thinking wealthy must translate into wealthy habits. I shared with her how I invest in energy, gold, commodities and other stuff. Leme me close with; in my work leading a business and training development modest company I have seen how many of us are living paycheck to paycheck but are not bankable. In fact, most Americans are 4 paychecks [not in the bank] away from homeless, says American Progress. Since 2009 running my business full time as a startup company; funding was cut three times from my business and I was hit with personal stuff but we where able to stand bc we were bankable - had some cash in the bank- to sustain us. I do not where fancy smancy stuff which has no value except in be heirlooms, artifacts, et al which are appreciating asset bc I understand the important of being bankable - Rashid Brown 2013
