Jasmine is a sweet little saluki x greyhound with perhaps a touch of something else too! She has had a rather difficult life having been just given away emaciated and neglected but (thankfully) a lovely kind lady has looked after her until now but sadly can no longer keep her. At only 19 months old she is still very much a baby and at only 25.5 inches to the shoulder will curl up nice and small on any settee! Location: Kennels in Norfolk. Jasmine would benefit hugely by living in a foster home while she waits for her forever home. Key Points: Very sweet and kind, trainable, good with other dogs, good with children, good in the car, LOVES people and other dogs. Can pull on the lead at times so will need ongoing lead training but very clever so it won’t take her long. ~ Personality ~ Jasmine is a lovely girl who is both gentle and kind and now in need of a really lovely forever home. She will need at least one other dog for company and guidance as at present she suffers from separation anxiety which isnt surprising as her confidence must be at an all time low. We feel she will really relax and settle when she is finally in her new home with a kind and patient family. ~ In the Home ~ Jasmine is great in the home and is a clean little girl who although has landed back in kennels also tries very hard to keep it clean. She sleeps through the night but prefers to be close to you if possible. Again we feel that with another kind dog she will very quickly gain confidence with this. ~ Other Animals ~ Jasmine is great with other dogs and loves them! She hasn’t met any tiny dogs yet as far as we know so care must be taken initially and a cat test can be arranged upon request. ~ Out and About ~ This girlie adores going for walks but can still pull occasionally so ongoing lead training would be recommended but she is very clever and willing to learn. ~ Where Can I Live ~ Little Jasmine desperately needs stability in her life now and to be adopted by a family who is willing to give her time to gain in confidence. Jasmine would be very happy living with children and will most definitely need at least one other canine friend to show her the ropes and cuddle with her. She really does love people so ideally a home/family with someone at home most of the time and/or at least one other dog for company would be ideal. Please be aware that we do not rehome dogs to families with children under 8 years of age. ~ Where Am I? ~ Jasmine is currently living in kennels in Norfolk. She can be homed anywhere in the UK provided we have a home checker available, but please note that you will be required to travel to Norfolk to meet and collect her. Jasmine would benefit so very much from a chance to live in a foster home and Kerry Greyhounds UK is always eager for new foster volunteers.
