Jasmines update..... Happy New Years everybody from Jasmine, Roger and I. Sorry that there hasnt been any updates for a few days but to be honest I really didnt feel like doing any till now. Still no results back. So we have have just been waiting. To many holidays in a row I guess. Jasmine has been making huge steps in her recovery. Her short term memory is still really bad but she is making progress in that as well. And today is the first day we have not had to explain why she is here more than 2-3 times. Just 2 days ago it was 40-60 times during the day. And it really wore me out going through that over and over again. Where my body finally said enough is enough and went in to a little bit of a shut down mode on Monday. But with sleep, today I got to come back to a super happy face and a girl that shed tears because she was happy to see me...but didnt remember I was gone. Ill take what I can get. I noticed today as well she has retained more information and other things for a longer period of time than before forgetting it. Today she put her feet on the floor for the first time in over two weeks. Her right side is still way far away but improves everyday. Yesterday Roger sent me a pic with thumbs up (as best as she could) with her right hand. boy was I happy and felt even better for that. She still has double vision and wears a patch over one eye to help with that otherwise she feels so dizzy. Still no shunt. But they will take a new X-ray tomorrow and see if there is any more blood in her brain fluid after the biopsy. Which could clog the shunt. The shunt will be permanent for the rest of her life. But todays best is that she has laughed with us more today than any other day. ❤️❤️ her humor is most amazing.
