Jason Rapert says hes taking a wait-and-see approach to the Private Option. What is he waiting to see? Over 200,000 Arkansans now have health insurance because of the Private Option. 7,500 of those are in Faulkner and Perry Counties. The uninsured rate in Arkansas has been cut nearly in half. The cost of health care is dropping, and rural hospitals will be able to keep their doors open. The Arkansas Hospital Association and Arkansas Chamber of Commerce endorse it. If that is not evidence enough that the plan is a success, I dont know what is. Vote for me, and I will be a strong advocate to protect the Private Option from Raperts Tea Party colleagues in the state senate.
