Jason from vp is going to be helping promote a race. For years he has supported everyone of us in the drag radial world...its time to return the love! Below is his press release about the race Here is the official announcement. I am helping Ohio Valley Dragway in Louisville Kentucky put on a small tire heads up race. The date is May 30 and 31. Friday will be an all day test with one qualifier at night. We will have 2-3 qualifiers on Saturday, time dependent, and run the race that evening. We will save Sunday for a rain date. Parking will be open till 10pm Thursday night. Here is the kicker to this race. Its called the Prize Fight for a reason. Not only do we have decent payouts, but we have approximately 10 grand in prizes from manufacturers so far. These will be awarded by a tech card draw throughout Saturdays event. Im sure we will get more prizes between now and the race. So you buy a tech card and you are entered for a prize. Heres what we have so far. Plus a bracket race. Testing on Friday will be $75.00 a car I hope to get some more manufacturers on board before the race for more prizes. I know we all cant always win the cash but a nice gift is also very cool. The track is an all concrete surface that was recently ground and polished. It is an awesome facility with great equipment. There is plenty of shut down and also asphalt parking. I will be overseeing the track prep the whole weekend so it will be as good as I can make it for the conditions. We have no glue budget!!
