Javed urges world to help resolve Kashmir dispute Srinagar, August 29: In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader Javed Ahmad Mir has said that Indian intelligence agencies are behind the prevailing tension on the Line of Control to divert the world’s attention from the burning Kashmir dispute. Javed Ahmad Mir presiding over a meeting of his party workers in Srinagar said that whenever India felt pressure from the world for settlement the Kashmir dispute, it escalated tension with Pakistan on the Line of Control. “This time the game has been started to sabotage the Pak-India prime-ministerial level meeting in the United States on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. He has urged the international community to take measures to help resolve the Kashmir dispute on humanitarian grounds. “Kashmiri people are not scapegoats, after all we have the same blood like the people of other countries.’’ “The responsibility of resolving the Kashmir dispute lies on the international community, mainly the UN.” he added.
